The studio

Fieldwork Films is the production studio of Derek Amengual.

Based in Brooklyn, working anywhere there's a story. Derek has spent more than a decade as a director of photography, documentary filmmaker, and editor, shooting on five continents for clients like The New York Times, Target, NYSE, Bumble, Kate Spade New York, NYU Langone, and the Broadway Advocacy Coalition.

The studio is small on purpose. One senior filmmaker leading every project, with trusted collaborators brought in by the shape of the work, not the org chart.
